VIBRANT YOU: WELL-BEING FESTIVAL A RESOUNDING SUCCESS
New Delhi, [18 February, 2025]:
The Students Counselling Centre, Satyawati College (Evening), organized a unique Well-Being Festival, "Vibrant You", which witnessed an overwhelming response from students and faculty members alike. The festival, held at Satyawati Auditorium, was a testament to the college's commitment to promoting mental well-being and self-awareness among its students and faculty members.
The chief guest for the occasion was Smt. Bharti Singh Rajput, Deputy Director (Culture), MP. The festival featured five engaging sessions, each designed to promote mental well-being and self-awareness.
Session 1, "_मन मस्त हुआ_", was led by Rhythem and Kushmita, who guided participants in letting go of stress and anxiety. The session was highly interactive, with participants enthusiastically participating in the activities.
Session 2, "_जिन खोजा तिन पाइयाँ_", conducted by Dr. Harpreet Kaur Jass, Associate Professor at Jamia Milia Islamia University, focused on the art of self-observation for mental well-being. Dr. Jass emphasized the importance of self-awareness in achieving mental well-being and provided practical tips for participants to cultivate self-awareness.
Session 3, "_मोमो चित्ते निते नृत्ये_", was a huge hit among participants, who let their hair down and danced to their heart's content. The session was conducted by Shubham from AHAM.
The festival concluded with a vibrant Drum Circle session, "_धा धीन धीन धा_", performed by Pappu, Sahil, Sumit, Tripurari, Sagar, and Suraj from Creativity Adda.
The festival was graced by the presence of Prof. Harimohan Sharma, Principal, Satyawati College (Evening), who was the patron of the event. Dr. Medha, Convenor, Students Counselling Centre, conceptualized and designed the festival. The programme was coordinated by Dr. Sapna Chaurasiya, Dr. Om Prakash, and Ms. Anukriti Ashok, along with a dedicated team of teachers Dr.Nita, Ms.Priyanka Sharma, Ms.Tarika, Ms.Priyanka (Commerce ), Dr.Chhama, Ms.Savita, Ms.Pinki, Dr.Harsh, Dr.Neha and students Rishita Verma , Neha, Gaurav, Sanya, PV Laxmi, Pooja negi, Saksham, Anshika. The team worked tirelessly to ensure the success of the festival, and their efforts paid off in the form of a highly successful and engaging event.
