CHENNAI WON ALL INDIA INTER UNIVERSITY CHESS WOMEN TOURNAMENT 2024-2025.
The University of Delhi was allotted the All India Inter University Chess Women Tournament by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) for the year 2024-2025. The Tournament was conducted from 18th to 20th March, 2025 at the Multipurpose Hall, University of Delhi. In the Tournament, 16 Teams participated from four Zones. The positions are as follows:. University of Madras, Chennai (TN). Adamas University, Kolkata (WB) Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad (MH) SRM University, Chennai (TN)
In the Valedictory Ceremony, the prizes were given by Chief Guest Dr. Baljit Singh Sekhon, Joint Secretary, AIU.Dr. Sekhon emphasized on the importance of role of Sports in the life of a students.
