DU's 101st convocation on February 22
Minister of Education Dharmendra Pradhan will be the chief guest and Vice Chancellor Prof. Yogesh Singh will preside over the ceremony

The 101st annual convocation of the University of Delhi is being organized on February 22, 2025. Minister of Education, Government of India, Dharmendra Pradhan will be the chief guest in this ceremony. The ceremony will be presided over by DU Vice Chancellor Prof. Yogesh Singh. Through this ceremony, UG, PG and PhD students who completed their studies in 2024 will be awarded their degrees.
Giving information in this regard, DU’s Controller of Examination Prof. Gurpreet Singh Tuteja said that the program will be organized in the Multipurpose Hall, located in the Sports Complex of DU. He informed that a total of 194 Gold and Silver medals and prizes will be awarded during the convocation. Prof. Gurpreet Singh Tuteja said that a total of 159 Gold medals and One silver medal will be awarded to UG and PG students. Similarly, a total of 34 Prizes will be given to UG and PG students. Prof. Tuteja said that a total of 494 students, including 248 male and 246 female students, will be awarded PhD degrees. He said that comprising of DU regular students and NCWEB students, a total of 77446 UG, 6812 PG and 29 five-year programmes students, will be awarded degrees in the annual convocation.
