 UDYOGONMUKH ENTREPRENEURSHIP CELL (E-CELL) SATYAWATI COLLEGE EVENING ORGANIZES INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO YAKULT FACTORY

[SONIPAT], March 26, 2025:


The Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) “Udyog onMukh” of Satyawati College (Evening) organized an industrial visit to the Yakult factory on March 26, 2025. The visit provided students with a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and insights into the manufacturing process of Yakult's iconic probiotic drink.The industrial visit was attended by a group of students from various disciplines, accompanied by  faculty Members. Surya Prakash Rathi, Convenor, Udyog Mukh, The Entrepreneurship Cell, Dr. Om Parkash, Co-convenor, Dr. Sagar, Dr. Meenal Singh, Dr. Arti Shukla. The students were given a comprehensive tour of the facility, which included the production area, quality control laboratory, and packaging section.

                    


During the tour, the students were briefed on the company's history, mission, and values by the Yakult factory's management team. They also learned about the production process, which involves the fermentation of lactobacillus casei shirota, a unique probiotic strain that is the key ingredient in Yakult's probiotic drink.


The students were impressed by the company's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. They witnessed firsthand the stringent quality control measures in place, including regular testing and inspection of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products.


"We were amazed by the level of automation and technology used in the production process. "It was fascinating to see how the company ensures the quality and consistency of its products."

The industrial visit also provided students with an opportunity to interact with the company's employees and learn about their experiences and challenges. The students gained valuable insights into the skills and knowledge required to succeed in the industry.

"The visit was an eye-opening experience for our student.  "It provided them with a unique perspective on the industry and inspired them to think creatively about entrepreneurship and innovation."

The industrial visit was part of E-Cell's efforts to provide students with practical exposure to the industry and inspire them to become entrepreneurs. The event was well-received by the students, and E-Cell plans to organize more such visits in the future."We are grateful to Yakult for providing us with this opportunity.
