*Satyawati College Evening College's students Industrial Visit to MD International*
New Delhi, March 6, 2025: The Placement Cell of Satyawati College Evening organized an industrial visit to MD International, a leading bedsheet and blanket manufacturing company, on March 6, 2025. The visit aimed to provide students with a hands-on learning experience and insights into production and operations within a manufacturing plant.
A team of 67 students, accompanied by a dedicated team of teachers, visited the MD International facility located in Panipat, Haryana. The students were given a comprehensive tour of the plant, where they learned about the various stages of blanket manufacturing, from raw material sourcing to finished product packaging.
The visit was led by Convenor Dr. P.V. Dahiya, and Incharge Ms. Pooja Bansal. The team of teachers included Prof. A. Ravichandran, Dr. Ram Niwas Saini, Dr. Om Prakash, Mr. Sagar, Mr. Surya Prakash Rathi, Ms. Nisha, Mr. Fakir Mohan Pradhan (Department of History), Dr. P.V. Dahiya (Department of Pol. Science), Mr. Naresh Chandra Malik (Department of Economics), Mr. Balbhadra Birua (Department of Economics), Mr. Gaurav Dutt (Department of Economics), Ms. Chhama Sharma (Department of Hindi), and Ms. Kiran Bala (Department of English) Along with students Tansvi Sheoran, Nikhil kr. Mishra, Priya Singh, Amritansh Tripathi, Yashi, Chirag Shah, vanshika gupta, Vanshika Aggarwal, Aditya Chaudhary, Rishita Verma
After the plant visit, the students were taken on a sightseeing tour of the Panipat Battle Field Memorial, where they learned about the historical significance of the site.
The industrial visit was a huge success, with students gaining valuable insights into the manufacturing process and industry operations. The visit was also an opportunity for students to network with professionals in the industry and learn about potential career opportunities.
